Nurse Educator, Director of Nursing, Healthcare Nursing
ADON / Staff Educator (RN)
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) / Staff Educator to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for staff development, regulatory compliance, and supporting high standards of resident care within our facility.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide mandatory in-services in compliance with State and Federal guidelines
Develop standardized lesson plans for employee orientation and ongoing in-services
Maintain accurate records of all in-service programs attended by staff
Ensure nursing personnel comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements to deliver the highest quality of resident care
Support the development and implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with facility administration
Implement and monitor compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures
Function as the Staff Development Coordinator, maintaining regulatory compliance for education across all departments
Serve as the Employee Health Nurse:
Maintain employee health records per state and federal regulations
Ensure policies and procedures regarding pre-employment and annual physical exams are implemented and followed
Current Pennsylvania (PA) RN license (Required)
BSN or Master’s degree in Nursing (Preferred)
Current IV certification (Preferred)
Minimum of 2 years long-term care experience
Prior staff education experience (Preferred)
