-4:30 p.m. - Setting: 100% Outpatient
- No call and no hospital rounding
- Coverage will include Mishawaka campus as well. The need is for Infusion coverage at both Mishawaka (3 days) and Plymouth (2 days) with call coverage in the evenings.
- Active Indiana Medical License or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
- BLS Certification
- Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
- Reason for coverage:
New service line
- Adults and Geriatrics
- Practice mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology / 0% Internal Medicine
- Outpatient:
Approximately 30 patients per day - Hospital/Call:
None
- Oncology - Outpatient Setting
- EMR: EPIC
- Management of VAD/CV catheters
- Bone marrow biopsies
- Tumor board participation
- Management of bone marrow transplants
- Ordering tests
- Blood bank coordination
- Ordering imaging
- Prescribing
- Chemotherapy administration (physician or nurse oncologist)
