Mental Health Technician – Full-Time Evening Shift

Location:

Plymouth, Indiana.

Shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (evenings, rotating weekends).

Hours:

40 hrs/week.

• Orient patient to unit and program.
• Carry out teaching activities identified in the treatment plan under the supervision of the nurse in charge.
• Provide continuous patient care and assist patients in all areas.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic boundaries complying with established training program.
• Demonstrate responsibility for observation of patients at all times.
• Assist patient with activities of daily living.
• Practice universal precautions and environment safety guidelines.

• High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree a plus.
• Willing to train the right individual that has a passion for children, adolescents, and adults with mental health and addiction disorders.
• Experience working with children and adolescents a plus.
• Must be able to work rotating weekends. May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
