2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3PM - 1AM
This position in will need to be able to run a mill and/or swiss.
Essential Functions:
- Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and work pieces for CNC machines
- Perform machine setup, including zeroing axes, loading programs, and verifying parameters.
- Monitor machine operations during production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, including tooling wear, offsets, and surface finish concerns.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with Inspection, Leads and Off-shift Personnel
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve quality.
- Ability to prioritize according to demand
- Good housekeeping
- Conform to ISO
13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements - Other work-related tasks as assigned
Competency:
- Must be able to read basic level blueprints features
- Must be able to use micrometers, dial calipers, and comparators
- Basic understanding of metrology reporting
- Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed
- Ability to comply with Quality System requirements
- Must be respectful and display a positive attitude
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of Medical Device experience
