Responsible for performing hourly control tests, inspections of random samples of finished products, pre-operational inspections, and swabbing to ensure cleanliness of lines.

- Bag and label checks, case count checks, and bag weight checks.
- Percent filling
- Monitoring of critical quality control points
- Perform pre‑op inspections.
- Calibration of quality equipment
- Assist supervisors with hold procedure.
- Sanitation of lab and equipment.
- Enter test results into computer as required.
- Sample preparation and analysis per test protocols, basic math, and literacy skills.
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written/oral instructions and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic data entry.
- Ability to work and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to identify defects in product for quality purposes.
- Ability to communicate with coworkers and management to improve the operation.
- Able to follow directions as required by management.

- Must be able to demonstrate good visual acuity and hand/eye coordination.
