1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30AM - 3:30PM;
Friday, 6:30AM - 10:30AM
- Manage and calibrate various gages – overlays, variable gages, attribute gages etc.
- Read and interpret documents such as procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.
- Disassemble gages and clean accordingly
- Perform in-process and final inspections on these assemblies by using measuring tools and ensuring they are in accordance with the applicable procedures/instructions
- Verify conditions and calibration of all inspection and test equipment prior to use and completing the inspection.
- Inputting calibration data into appropriate software
- Ensure calibration dates are observed and track any gages past calibration
- Contact customers for gaging as needed
- Scheduling calibration dates as needed
- Other work-related tasks as assigned
- Conform to ISO
13485, 21 CFR Part 820, and medical device industry requirements.
- Understanding of GD+T and metrology application
- Basic knowledge of gaging
- Understand CMM reports
- Strong organization skills
- Able to multitask
- Basic math, calculation, and related skills needed
- Understanding of labeling, coding, and accuracy in records very important
- Ability to comply with Quality System requirements
- Application of Statistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
