Core Duties
Plan and implement all classroom activities that carry out the goals set forth in the Education Plan.
Create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of students.
Perform teaching activities in accordance with the Head Start performance standards established in the regulations, while assuming a lead role in working with varying groups of children.
Meal assistance and other various activities as assigned.
Develop Daily Lesson & Curriculum Plans.
Qualifications- BA/BS degree in early childhood or related field, or AA/AS in early childhood or related field required.
- MA EEC Lead Teacher certification required.
- Bi-lingual (Portuguese, Arabic, Spanish) helpful but not required.
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- Valid MA state driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
- All candidates must undergo a CORI, DCF, SORI, and fingerprint background check prior to beginning employment.
