Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking an ambitious, mission‑driven Grade 5 STEM Teacher to build and strengthen students' skills and understanding in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Applicants should deliver data‑driven, standards‑aligned instruction, foster a joyful, structured classroom culture, and support students’ development of key STEM concepts.

Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a tuition‑free charter school located in Plymouth, MA, serving approximately 600 students across grades 5‑12 who reside in 20 towns within the school’s designated region. Educators adopt an inquiry and skills‑based approach to teaching and learning, providing equitable access and opportunities for all students.

• Deliver well‑designed, engaging lessons aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Establish a highly structured, safe, and achievement‑oriented classroom environment.
• Implement accommodations and modifications to ensure equitable opportunities for all learners.
• Maintain proactive, regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student academic progress.
• Provide timely grade posts and ensure the active, daily utilization of Google Classroom.
• Partner closely with grade‑level, Math, Science, and special education teams.
• Engage in active collaboration, professional reflection, and professional development.
• Serve as an advisor for a small group of Grade 5 students, supporting their personal, social, and academic growth within our community‑oriented model.

• Licensed to teach in Massachusetts, or able to take and pass the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) in the subject area and literacy within the first year of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Citizen, resident or work‑visa holder.
