Rising Tide Charter Public School is seeking a long term sub paraprofessional to work with high school students through December 2026. Successful applicants should have experience working with adolescents and possess strong written language and math skills; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Paraprofessionals work closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to ensure that students' academic and behavioral needs are met within the classroom.

Rising Tide Charter Public School (Rising Tide) is a free charter public school in Massachusetts. Rising Tide serves approximately 620 students in grades 5-12 from 20 towns in the school's designated region; the majority of the students are residents of Plymouth.

Rising Tide provides an academically challenging environment with high standards for all in a safe, small, and rewarding setting. Teachers develop the curriculum based upon the school wide objectives, benchmark skills, and subject area essential questions; the curriculum is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks. Teachers are encouraged to utilize an inquiry-based approach for building skills, content knowledge and understanding within the classroom.

At Rising Tide, full-time teachers are a part of grade-level and curricular teams, are advisors for students, and are given opportunities for leadership within the school. Teachers also design and implement elective courses in addition to the courses in their primary discipline.
