Job Description & How to Apply Below

Launch Your Engineering Career or Take It to the Next Level.

Some companies want someone with years of experience.

We're looking for someone with curiosity, a passion for solving problems, and a desire to make a difference.

Whether you're a recent engineering graduate eager to begin your career or an experienced engineer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to meet you.

At CDF Corporation, you won't spend your days sitting behind a desk. You'll work alongside our manufacturing, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve processes, solve real production challenges, and help build world-class manufacturing systems.

Every day presents a new opportunity to learn, improve, and make an impact.

Why This Role Matters

Our manufacturing processes produce critical plastic packaging used across multiple industries.

We're looking for an engineer who wants to understand how things work, ask questions, test ideas, and continuously improve the way we manufacture our products.

You’ll help reduce waste, improve equipment performance, standardize best practices, and develop processes that make our operations safer, more efficient, and more consistent.

You’ll see your ideas become reality.

What You'll Be Doing

One day you may be analyzing production data to improve machine performance.

The next, you'll be working directly with operators to troubleshoot a manufacturing issue or helping validate a new process on the production floor.

You'll also:

  • Develop standardized work instructions and setup sheets
  • Improve thermoforming and flexible packaging processes
  • Lead process testing and validation
  • Analyze downtime, scrap, and process variation
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement projects
  • Support new equipment and process implementation
  • Train and coach operators and Process Technicians on best practices
  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality to solve challenging problems

No two days are the same, and that's exactly what makes this role exciting.

Who Will Succeed Here? You'll fit right in if you:
  • Love solving problems.
  • Are naturally curious.
  • Enjoy working with people.
  • Want to understand how things work.
  • Like turning ideas into real improvements.
  • Enjoy learning new technology and manufacturing processes.
  • Aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and spend time on the production floor.
Qualifications

We're open to candidates at different stages of their careers.

Recent Graduates

If you've recently earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field, we encourage you to apply. If you're eager to learn, we'll help you develop the technical and manufacturing skills needed to succeed.

Experienced Engineers

If you've worked in manufacturing, process engineering, plastics, thermoforming, automation, or continuous improvement, we'd love to hear how your experience can help drive operational excellence at CDF.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, ERP systems, or technical documentation is a plus but we value aptitude, initiative, and a willingness to learn just as much.

Why Join CDF?

You'll join a collaborative engineering team where your ideas are welcomed, your growth is supported, and your work has a direct impact on the success of the business.

We believe great engineers are developed through hands-on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning - not simply years on a resume.

At CDF, you'll have opportunities to:
  • Learn from experienced manufacturing leaders
  • Build technical and leadership skills
  • Work on meaningful improvement projects
  • Make visible contributions from day one
  • Grow your career as our engineering organization continues to expand

If you're looking for more than just a job, if you're looking for a place where you can build a career and make a real difference, we'd love to hear from you.
