Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Reporting

A growing Private Equity-backed operating company is seeking a hands-on, operationally focused Controller to help streamline and professionalize accounting operations across a multi-location platform. This organization is in active growth mode and requires a leader who can drive consistency, improve reporting accuracy, and support consolidation efforts across entities.

This role reports directly to executive leadership and works closely with the PE sponsor to enhance financial visibility, controls, and scalability.

• Lead and streamline day-to-day accounting operations across multiple locations
• Oversee monthly close, consolidations, and financial reporting
• Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes
• Manage and mentor local accounting teams
• Drive standardization of policies and procedures across the platform
• Support audit readiness and ensure GAAP compliance
• Partner with leadership on systems optimization and reporting enhancements

• CPA (required)
• Public accounting experience (required)
• Experience in a multi-entity / multi-location environment
• Strong background in consolidations and GAAP reporting
• Proven ability to streamline and professionalize accounting operations
• Experience in a Private Equity-backed environment strongly preferred

• Hands-on and detail-oriented, yet strategic
• Comfortable building structure in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business
