Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber or Hair Stylist to join our management team at Max & Mia Children's Salon.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of management experience with strong leadership skills, a strong foundation in hair cutting skills, customer service, and salon operations. This role requires patience, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional experiences for our little clients. As a manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

• Oversee day-to-day operations by organizing schedules, managing staff, and handling ordering.
• Maintain sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Use salon software such as Mangomint for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Demonstrate leadership ability with recruiting, training, and fostering a positive environment with the ability to problem-solve any associate issues.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction, resolve complaints, and ensure exceptional services.
• Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience.

• Valid MA cosmetology or barbering license is required.
• Proficiency in a variety of haircuts.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Experience with retail math to assist in managing product sales.
• Familiarity with salon management practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to work Sundays.
