We’re hiring a passionate sonographer to travel in an assigned small geographical area to perform OB/GYN and MFM ultrasounds. We believe in autonomy, support, and making a difference. The Resource Sonographer position covers both office and hospital-based accounts within the Cape and South Shore area and will report to our Clinical Regional Manager.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, OB/GYN and MFM, according to ordering physician’s requisition
- Travel to various account locations within your assigned region at the Cape and South Shore to cover open accounts and vacation/sick days
- Assist Clinical Leadership with training of newly hired sonographers
- Collaborate with the physician and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings
- Explain the procedures to patients in a friendly, comforting manner to ensure their understanding
- Uphold safety, privacy, and infection control standards
- Continuing education to stay updated on advancements in sonography techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and physicians
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and decision-making skills
