As Assistant General Manager, you’ll own the performance, culture, and guest experience in your venue. You’ll work closely with managers and cross-functional leaders to deliver results, build high-performing teams, and uphold the G Hospitality standard of excellence across every touchpoint.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience
- Championing a culture of warmth, hospitality, and service excellence.
- Proactively engage with guests and resolve issues with poise and professionalism.
- Maintain best-in-class standards for cleanliness, ambiance, and product quality.
- Manage all FOH/BOH operations to ensure seamless execution and memorable guest experiences.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.
- Deliver clear goals, expectations, and development pathways for your team.
- Drive a strong, inclusive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives in partnership with the Executive Chef and support teams.
- Set and achieve ambitious financial goals—across sales, labor, food/beverage cost, and profitability.
- Use data and reporting tools to drive daily decisions and long-term strategy.
- Optimize ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships to maximize profitability.
- Ensure full compliance with local and national regulations and G Hospitality policies.
- Maintain safety, sanitation, and quality standards that exceed expectations.
- Support menu rollouts and new initiatives, ensuring timely training and operational readiness.
- Leverage technology and modern systems to streamline operations and empower staff.
- Activate local marketing and brand-building initiatives.
- Represent the venue and G Hospitality in the local community.
- Build a loyal guest base through local partnerships, events, and outreach.
- 5+ years in progressive restaurant leadership roles, including 2+ years as a Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Operational fluency: P&L management, scheduling, ordering, and compliance.
- Tech-savvy mindset:
Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and modern restaurant tools. - Hospitality-first mentality with a deep passion for guest experience and team success.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S.
