Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $61.00/hr

Position Summary

This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities. An individual will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or as necessary.

Essential functions:

an individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities
  • Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (e.g. security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling).
  • Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
  • Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability; identifies and resolves issues promptly to minimize downtime; fixes faults or damages to restore optimal condition.
  • Provides technical support and training to end users on how to operate and maintain low voltage systems; addresses customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
  • Ensures all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Follows all safety guidelines to prevent accidents; maintains accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates reports on system performance, issues resolved, and maintenance activities.
  • Evaluates existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed; performs system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards.
  • Works closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
  • Communicates effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions; stays abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Leads and participates in teams, using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determines customer needs and business priorities; coordinates and executes work assignments; provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; monitors progress and results; identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; explains, guides, and demonstrates application through business processes; implements action plans.
