Position SummaryThis position is responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities. An individual will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or as necessary.
Essential functions:

- Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (e.g. security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling).
- Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards.
- Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality and reliability; identifies and resolves issues promptly to minimize downtime; fixes faults or damages to restore optimal condition.
- Provides technical support and training to end users on how to operate and maintain low voltage systems; addresses customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Ensures all installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Follows all safety guidelines to prevent accidents; maintains accurate and detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates reports on system performance, issues resolved, and maintenance activities.
- Evaluates existing systems to determine if upgrades or enhancements are needed; performs system upgrades to improve performance or comply with new standards.
- Works closely with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion.
- Communicates effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions; stays abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Leads and participates in teams, using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determines customer needs and business priorities; coordinates and executes work assignments; provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality.
- Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; monitors progress and results; identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
