Job Description

Our company engineers precision components that power the medical, aerospace, and electronics industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented worker if you thrive in a fast-paced, technical environment and take pride in ensuring every part is properly prepared for downstream finishing operations, this is the role for you. Ability to follow direction and willingness to learn are needed!

Responsibilities
  • Wire or fixture parts onto designated racks per general instructions using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures.
  • Read and apply special instructions when required, ensuring correct part orientation and fixturing.
  • Perform frequent counting of product to maintain accuracy and meet daily rack quotas.
  • Inspect incoming parts and report any defects or questionable conditions immediately to the Department Lead.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations, such as proper disposal of wire scraps and maintaining clear walkways.
  • Execute prescribed preventive maintenance on racking equipment, such as checking wire cutters, lubricating pins, and inspecting rack fixtures as scheduled.
  • Complete tasks as directed by the manufacturing schedule with minimal supervision, consistently meeting production targets.
  • Collaborate with peers and leadership to support overall production demands and address issues promptly.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 year assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to read work orders and written instructions; legible penmanship for labeling and counts.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, counting by twos or tens).
  • Mechanical inclination: able to troubleshoot simple fixture or wire-break issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.90 - $18.90/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
