Travel RN – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (L&D / Mother-Baby)

Location: Massachusetts
Shift: 12H Nights – 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• MA RN License – Required at submission
• No Local Travelers (Must live >50 miles from facility)

Required Pre-Assignment Testing (PASS/FAIL – One Attempt Only)

• Dysrhythmia (20 Questions)
• Medication (20 Questions)
• Administered via Zoom Protector by CCH
• Must test within 48 hours of confirmation
• Passing Score: 85%
• No remediation or retesting allowed
• Study guide provided by facility (strongly recommended preparation)

The Birthplace is a 12-bed private LDRP unit (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) featuring:

• 12 Private LDRP Rooms
• 2-Bed Triage Area
• 6-Bed Postpartum Area
• On-site Nursery
• Multidisciplinary team including:
  • Obstetricians
  • Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Pediatricians
  • Neonatologists
  • Registered Nurses

• Labor & Delivery experience – Required
• Postpartum (Mother/Baby) experience – Required
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring competency
• Breastfeeding education
• Neonatal Resuscitation
• OR Scrub & Circulating experience

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced)
• Evidence of recent EFM continuing education

• OR Circulating & Scrub
• Special Care Nursery / NICU
• Continuing Care Nursery environment

This role requires a strong, fully independent L&D RN with full LDRP skill set, comfortable with:

• Labor management
• Postpartum care
• Newborn stabilization
• OR roles
• Advanced monitoring
• Strict pass/fail cardiac & medication testing
