Key Responsibilities of the Travel Endoscopy RN:
Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for GI and endoscopic procedures
Monitor patient status, administer medications, and ensure safe sedation practices
Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures and maintain a sterile environment
Educate patients and families on procedural expectations and post-procedure care
Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia providers, and support staff
Requirements of the Travel Endoscopy RN:
Active Massachusetts RN license  (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2-3 years of recent Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience
Strong critical thinking, patient education, and team communication skills
