Position: Travel Nurse RN - Hospice - $2,520 per week

Overview

GHR Healthcare – Travel is recruiting a Travel Hospice RN for a 13‑week assignment in Plymouth, MA (ZIP 02360). The position requires an active Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification. The role is part of a coastal community hospice nursing team delivering compassionate home and facility‑based care.

  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (5/18/2026 – 8/15/2026)
  • Start Date:

    06/01/2026
  • Hourly/Shift: 8‑hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00 am–4:30 pm)
  • Hours:

    32 hours/week guaranteed (up to 40 hours)
  • Weekly Pay Estimate: $2,250 – $2,370
  • Travel:
    Expected to travel 30–50 miles/day between patient homes and facilities; mileage reimbursed per IRS guidelines
  • Employment Type:

    Travel assignment – hospice travel nursing / home hospice nurse role
Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate hospice nursing care to patients in their homes and long‑term care facilities.
  • Perform routine visits, comprehensive assessments, symptom and pain management, and case management for hospice patients.
  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and chaplain services.
  • Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage time efficiently while traveling between patient locations.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience (home hospice or facility‑based hospice preferred).
  • Active Massachusetts RN license (must be held at time of submission).
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to perform 4–5 patient visits per day in outpatient settings.
  • Must reside outside a 50‑mile radius from Plymouth, MA.
  • Must not have worked for any facility in any capacity within the past 6 months.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation recommended.
