Work setting: hospital-based travel assignment. This is a travel, temporary assignment requiring ER nursing expertise and EPIC EMR experience.

07/13/2026 - Setting: hospital-based travel assignment in Massachusetts
- Onboarding includes dysrhythmia and medication tests with a single attempt and 85% passing requirement
- MA license required at submission; no RTO approved; no local travelers (≥50 miles away)
- Deliver direct nursing care in the ED, including triage, initial assessment, rapid stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and analgesia per physician orders; manage intravenous lines and infusion therapies
- Monitor vital signs and ECGs, interpret rhythm changes, and respond to dysrhythmias; participate in Code/rapid response events as needed
- Document all patient data and care in the EPIC EMR; communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary team
- Coordinate patient flow, disposition planning, and discharge instructions; provide patient and family education on treatments, comfort measures, and follow-up care
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures; support quality and performance improvement initiatives
- Active Massachusetts RN license (at submission) or temporary MA license if eligible
- Minimum 2 years ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications; TNCC preferred; MAB preferred
- Proficient in EPIC EMR
- Able to work a 3x12-hour evening shift (11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.)
- Not a local traveler: must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the work site
- Completion of onboarding tests (dysrhythmia and medications) with one attempt; passing score 85%
Graduation from an approved nursing program and active MA RN licensure.
