Director of Nursing (LPN or RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Director of Nursing/Resident Care Director to oversee hiring, training, and management of our community care team. This role also serves as liaison with family members, community agencies, physicians, and outside care providers.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating manager on duty weekend.

• Assuring compliance with all resident care regulations (e.g., medication management, resident assessments, care plans)
• Maintaining accurate record-keeping
• Demonstrating personal/resident safety methods and procedures
• Represent Benchmark Senior Living with pride and knowledge to educate outside groups and organizations
• Oversee hiring, training, and management of the community care team
• Liaise with family members, community agencies, physicians, and outside care providers

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a care setting;
  Assisted Living/Home Care or Hospice experience a plus
• Knowledge of dementia care (a plus)
