Role Overview:
The Novice Nurse - Registered Nurse provides hands-on, patient-centered care in a home setting, focusing on direct care, care management, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness
- Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate with supervisors and physicians
- Document care activities and coordinate with healthcare team
- Ensure safety and proper functioning of environment and equipment
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Active RN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
