• Deliver perioperative nursing care across multiple specialties (orthopedics, general, gynecology) while maintaining strict aseptic technique.
• Prepare the OR, assist the surgeon and anesthesia team, and manage instrumentation and equipment, including endoscopic, laser, robotics‑assisted cases, and other complex surgical tools.
• Position and transport patients safely, monitor intraoperative status and vital signs, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation, counts, specimen labeling, and ensure proper room turnover between cases.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards; communicate effectively with the surgical team and support staff.
• Demonstrate ability to handle high‑acuity scenarios in a fast‑paced OR environment; participate in post‑operative care and handoffs as needed.

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• OR and perioperative experience with orthopedic trauma and general surgery; gynecologic (GYN) experience required; neuro experience is a plus
• Robotics experience must be noted on file
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques and ability to operate complex surgical equipment
• Travel experience required; no local residents within 50 miles of the assignment location
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine booster and influenza vaccine required (medical exemptions allowed)
• Ability to pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests prior to acceptance; one attempt allowed; passing score 85%
• Availability for interview; manager will contact candidates to schedule
