American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with required ortho trauma and general OR experience and active MA RN licensure.

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
• 10-hour day shift, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 40 hours per week
• On-call responsibilities of 2 calls per month
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required

• Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of prior travel OR experience required
• Current, hands-on Operating Room experience required
• Ortho trauma and general surgery experience required; neuro experience is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique and complex surgical equipment across specialties including Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular
• Must pass a one-attempt ECG/Tele and Medications test with an 85% passing score prior to acceptance

• Operate and manage complex surgical equipment across multiple surgical specialties
• Follow strict aseptic technique protocols during procedures
• Flu vaccination required prior to start, with medical exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required, with medical exemptions accepted
• Candidates must not have worked at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the last 6 months, whether travel, per diem, or permanent
• No local candidates accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No more than 3 consecutive days of RTO will be approved, and all RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered due to required travel OR experience
