Job Description
Sales Account Representative for an established landscape and snow removal company in business for over 36 years.
Reports to: VP, Business Development
Works with: VP, Business Development;
Client Relations Manager. Responsible for providing accurate proposals and exceeding client expectations from initial lead through the sales cycle.
Salary: Competitive, based on qualifications
Job Location: Easton, MA
Required
Education:
High School graduate and/or work experience equivalent
- Landscaping experience a MUST! 3+ years selling landscape maintenance, enhancement, construction or related services
- Proficiency with computers a MUST! Willingness to learn new selling tools. Candidates with Service Auto Pilot experience will be strongly considered.
- Customer service experience 3+ years
- Proven ability to communicate succinctly written and verbally
- Valid driver's license
Customer relations driven salesperson. Primary responsibility to bring a consistent flow of profitable new business in accordance with the company’s sales and marketing plan.
Major Activities- Solicit sufficient new business opportunities to meet sales objectives.
- Respond quickly and professionally to lead opportunities, conducting meetings with clients to provide accurate proposals.
- Represent the company in appropriate organizations to build relationships that lead to new business.
- Prepare proposals in Service Auto Pilot, send and follow up with clients to close opportunities.
- Maintain company database of current, prospective, and past customers to support marketing efforts.
- Keep a record and aggressively pursue proposals in progress, working with VP, Business Development.
- Ensure proposals are prepared and approved before submission.
- Foster a spirit of cooperation within the organization.
- Assist Operations as needed to ensure execution of sold work meets client expectations and stays within budget.
- Assist in customer retention and account renewal processes.
- Provide constructive feedback on customer perceptions of product and service value.

- Technical capabilities on database and word processing skills

May require extended hours, flexibility, evenings or weekends for client meetings/presentations.
