Sales Associate

Home Goods is hiring a Sales Associate to support Widgets Co, a leading manufacturer of innovative industrial tools. In this on-site role, you'll assist customers, understand their operational needs, and recommend the right Widgets Co solutions to improve their efficiency. You'll maintain product displays, process orders accurately, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. Working in Widgets Co's collaborative, growth-focused culture, you'll gain deep product knowledge, participate in regular training, and build a strong foundation for a long-term sales career in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers on the sales floor and by phone
• Understand and explain Widgets Co industrial tools and product features
• Recommend solutions based on customer needs and applications
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately in POS systems
• Maintain merchandising standards, stock levels, and product displays
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams on order fulfillment
• Track leads, follow up with customers, and support repeat business
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales and productivity targets
• Document customer feedback and share insights with management
• Participate in ongoing product and sales training sessions
