Senior Epicor Integration Developer

The Senior Epicor Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions focused on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP, including Epicor Cloud migration initiatives. This role leads API‑driven integrations between P21 Cloud and enterprise systems, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high‑performance integration architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and support integrations for Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) ERP.
  • Develop APIs and data transformations to connect P21 Cloud with enterprise and third‑party systems.
  • Lead and execute Epicor P21 Cloud migration integrations (on‑prem to cloud).
  • Develop and manage REST/SOAP APIs for P21 and related systems.
  • Build custom integrations using Epicor tools, APIs, and service‑based architecture.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of P21 integrated solutions.
  • Oversee full API lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Implement API‑led integration solutions connecting P21 Cloud with internal and external systems.
  • Create reusable services, endpoints, and data transformation logic.
  • Support hybrid architecture (cloud + on‑prem systems).
  • Work closely with architects, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams to define integration requirements.
  • Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards and integration best practices.
  • Monitor integration performance and health; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Optimize integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 8+ years with Epicor P21 ERP systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Mule Soft integration.
  • Hands‑on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Studio, Cloud Hub, API Manager, and related tools.
  • Experience integrating Epicor P21 Cloud with Salesforce, banking platforms, eCommerce, or data warehouses.
  • Technical skills: EDI, ETL, flat‑file integrations; API‑led connectivity, ESB architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Certifications
  • Mule Soft Certified Developer (MCD‑Level
    1) required;
    Architect‑level certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Dev Ops practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience migrating legacy integrations to Mule Soft.
Integration Experience
  • Hands‑on experience integrating with ERP systems (Epicor P21, SAP, Oracle, Business Central), CRM (Salesforce), and other enterprise applications.
  • Experience with API‑first and event‑driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of integration tools such as Mule Soft, Boomi, Celigo, or Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.
