Financial Analyst, Accounting & Finance, Tax Accountant
Our client, a leading organization in the automotive seating industry, is seeking a dedicated and motivated Accounting & Payroll Intern to join their team. As an Accounting & Payroll Intern, you will be part of the Business Operations department supporting the Payroll team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Accounting & Payroll Intern
Location: Plymouth, MI (Onsite)
Pay Range: $17.50-$22 (based on program level)
What's the Job?
- Enter, update, and validate employee payroll data with a high level of accuracy
- Support weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll processing activities
- Review payroll reports, templates, and exception items
- Maintain organized and confidential payroll records
- Assist with documentation updates and process standardization
What's Needed?
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Available to work onsite in Plymouth, MI for 20 hours per week
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
