Lang Recruiting is partnering with a respected public accounting firm to hire a Senior Tax & Accounting Manager
. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced CPA who thrives in public accounting and is passionate about delivering exceptional client service while mentoring and developing high-performing teams.

As a key leader within the firm, you'll oversee tax and accounting engagements, manage client relationships, provide technical guidance, and help drive strategic growth. • Lead and manage the firm's tax and accounting services practice.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop managers, senior accountants, and staff.
• Review complex business, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns.
• Review financial statements, compilations, reviews, and accounting engagements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Serve as the primary advisor for key client relationships, providing proactive tax planning and accounting solutions.
• Research and resolve complex tax and accounting issues.
• Utilize Quick Books Online/Desktop and Thomson Reuters software to manage client engagements efficiently.
• Improve internal processes, workflows, and quality control procedures.
• Partner with firm leadership on business development and practice growth initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.

• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive public accounting experience.
• Extensive experience managing tax and accounting engagements.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Advanced experience with Quick Books Online and Desktop.
• Proficiency with Thomson Reuters software, including Ultra Tax CS, Accounting CS, Practice CS, and Fixed Assets CS.
• Proven leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing accounting professionals.
• Business development and client growth initiatives.
• Working with closely held businesses, manufacturing companies, construction companies, and high-net-worth individuals.
