Commercial Manager – West Coast – Automotive Production
Location:
Plymouth, MI (Hybrid – minimum 2 days in office, preferred 3 days)
Full-time position within the Vehicle Motion division, under Robert Bosch LLC.
Start Date:
As arranged.
Within the Vehicle Motion division we design and develop state‑of‑the‑art safety and motion solutions for passenger cars, light trucks, and medium‑heavy trucks.
As the Commercial Manager you will support all VM products for West Coast customers, drive financial success through business planning, forecasting, volume planning, payments collection and KPI tracking, present and defend key figures to regional and global leadership, and work with sales and local controlling to ensure data accuracy.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
- 7+ years in the automotive industry with experience in sales KPIs, business planning, volume planning, sales forecasting and payment collection.
- Advanced analytical capabilities and experience working with large complex data sets to translate numeric data into actionable insights.
- Strong presentation skills, confidently delivering complex data insights to senior leadership.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI expertise.
- Experience delegating responsibilities while fostering accountability among regional teams.
- Proven ability to lead work packages and projects, meeting timelines and deliverables.
- High emotional intelligence for navigating stakeholder interests and encouraging collaboration.
- Ability to mentor and guide new team members on sales processes and KPIs.
- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills, consistently meeting deadlines with high data quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
