About the Position:
As a Surgical Dental Assistant
, you’ll play a vital role in both patient care and surgical assistance. This is a hybrid position blending dental assisting and surgical technologist responsibilities. No two days are the same! We are excited to offera*$500.00 Sign-on Bonus!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to the surgeon during procedures, including extractions, wisdom teeth removal, implants, biopsies, and more.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment, including instrument sterilization, supply ordering, and facility upkeep.
- Guide patients through pre-operative and post-operative care, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Perform suture removal and dressing changes.

Compensation:
- Hourly Pay
: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour, with annual merit-based increases. - Occasional Travel

You may be asked to travel to other locations for coverage or training.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Dental or Medical Assisting Certification (or equivalent experience).
- Completion of an approved Radiography Course (or willingness to complete).
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to complete).
- Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as prolonged standing, walking, stooping, reaching, and lifting 50+ pounds.
