Job DescriptionThe Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre‑K program for 4‑year‑old children. We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high‑quality, play‑based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.
As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:
- Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
- Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development
We’re seeking compassionate, curious, and committed educators who are eager to make a lasting impact. Candidates should bring:
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
(Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree) - Experience working with preschool‑aged children preferred
- Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements
- Team player with a passion for early childhood education
