7:00 am – 9:00 am and 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday - Rate of Pay: $16.04 – $18.21 per hour
- Beginning Date: ASAP
The staff member will work one on one with a student to aid them while at Kids’ Time.
Minimum Qualifications- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with autism.
- Demonstrate ability to work with parents, students, and support personnel.
- Good communication skills.
- Good attendance record.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to be self‑directed.
- Ability to engage in problem identification and solving.
- Ability to maintain good rapport with staff, parents, and students.
- Prefer experience as a one‑on‑one paraprofessional.
- Functions under the direct supervision of Extended Day site director and Extended Day Coordinator.
- Performs health‑care and related assignments developed by a special education professional specific to the student.
- Implements health‑care, instructional programs and the management of aggressive student behavior.
- Supports the student with eating, bathroom, dressing, arriving and any other aspect of the student’s day.
- Monitors established goals and objectives for the student.
- Supervises students in the classroom, halls, and outside.
- Bends, lifts, and performs overhead work as required.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
