Early Childhood Paraprofessional Tuition Preschool

Hours:

31 hours per week

Monday Thursday: 7:45am 3:15 pm

Friday: 8:00am 11:00am

Assist with providing high quality preschool education to students.

High school graduate or equivalent

An Associate degree in Early Childhood or Child Development or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred

Experience working in an early childhood setting preferred

Good organizational skills

Demonstrated ability to work with parents and children

Good communication skills

Ability to maintain good rapport with staff/students

Good attendance record

Negative TB test required.

Complete professional development required by State Licensing

Assist the classroom teacher in working with preschool children and parents

Function under the supervision of the classroom teacher and support classroom instruction

Assist in the implementation of instructional programs for the children

Direct specific classroom activities as assigned by the teacher

Prepare learning materials for children and parents

Assist with arrival and dismissal of children

Prepare and serve the daily, nutritional snack

Assist with the preparation and cleanup of room

Provides clinic/first aid/medication support to students

Bending, lifting and overhead work required

Performs other duties as assigned
