We are looking for a BMS Systems Engineer to own the end-to-end technical architecture of the Battery Management System. This role is responsible for defining how hardware, software, networks, and safety concepts come together into a cohesive, robust Client solution that meets vehicle, regulatory, and customer requirements.
The Client Architecture Engineer will lead system-level decisions, allocate requirements across subsystems, and ensure alignment with functional safety and cybersecurity expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
Skill Team Role- Owns the overall Client system architecture, including:
- Hardware and ECU architecture
- Software structure and interfaces
- Network and communication topology
- Functional safety and system safety concepts
- Allocates system and vehicle requirements across:
- Client ECU
- Sensing and monitoring systems
- Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU)
- Vehicle and powertrain interfaces
- Leads system-level trade studies and technical decision making.
- Ensures architectural alignment with functional safety and cybersecurity requirements.
- Maintains system documentation, architecture artifacts, and requirements traceability.
- Supports DFMEA, system safety, and technical readiness reviews.
- Communicates architecture decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Other duties as required to ensure program success.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with automotive Client or complex embedded systems architecture
- Experience working across hardware, software, and systems disciplines
Technical
- Strong understanding of Client system architecture and subsystem interactions
- Experience defining hardware, software, network, and safety architectures
- Ability to allocate and manage system requirements across multiple subsystems
- Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity concepts
- Experience performing trade studies and evaluating technical alternatives
- Strong documentation and requirements management skills
