Overview
Product Management - Change Manager role in the Vehicle Motion Division. Senior Product Change Manager responsible for change management, securing implementation of complex and cost-reduction changes, and shaping the product portfolio. Works with cross-functional teams in the U.S., Mexico, and Europe, including manufacturing plants, to facilitate product changes, manage customer implementation scenarios, and accelerate time-to-market to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

- Lead Engineering Change Management (ECM) process from centralized customer account view.
- Be a key member of the ECM Review Team (RT), steering and consulting with Engineering and Quality Leads.
- Serve as first-level interface/escalation to the ECM Steering Committee (Senior Leadership).
- Approve Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), planning and final review, as central sales representative.
- Actively shape the product portfolio through strategic insight into proposed changes and the change management process.
- Evaluate and define criteria on quality and completeness of ECR documentation prior to customer communication.
- Serve as key interface between change representatives and Customer Team Project Managers (PJMs).
- Organize communication to affected PJMs and distribute documents for customer communication.
- Coordinate documentation of customer requirements and provide to the change representative.
- Support Customer Teams with internal ECR Kick-Off Meetings while ensuring adherence to ECM guidelines.
- Increase ECM transparency by maintaining a comprehensive change overview and reporting across the organization as needed.
- Quarterly review with Senior Leadership on ECM state across VM-NA, including KPI status.
- Define, support, and deploy ECM training across teams as necessary.
- Share best practices across products and regions to ensure lean and effective ECM within VM-NA.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of professional work experience in the automotive industry (engineering, project management, or similar) with strong change management background.
- 2+ years of full product life cycle experience.
- Self-driven, high energy and proactive with strong motivational skills to lead teams toward a common goal.
- Ability to make independent decisions of a complex nature.
- Strong organizational skills with a process-driven mindset.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and building internal networks quickly.
- Strong VM product and product release process know-how from quotation to SOP.
- Change management experience from OEM and/or Bosch industrialization view.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP ECM Future or similar change management software.
