We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, data analysis, and project management within a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline and is eager to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world business challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in analyzing production processes, workflows, and operational systems to identify improvement opportunities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies
- Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to support decision‑making
- Participate in time studies, workflow mapping, and capacity analysis
- Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance
Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for engineering and management teams - Support facility layout planning and material flow analysis
Contribute to cost reduction and productivity improvement projects - Perform other engineering‑related duties as assigned
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
- Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software
- Prior internship, co‑op, or project experience in manufacturing or operations environments
- Real‑world engineering and operational experience
- Exposure to manufacturing and business improvement strategies
