Ingeteam Electronics Power Engineer

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is looking to hire an Electronics Power Engineer in the Converters & Controls Technological Area in Zamudio.

Main functions will be:

• Participate in research and development projects on power electronics components.
• Select and characterize power electronics components for potential use in business unit designs.
• Lead analysis and research on novel technologies.
• Define and develop component test banks and design tools.
• Help in the standardization of design processes and methodologies.
• Lead investigations of relevant incidents.
• Collaborate actively with the entire value chain, such as suppliers, power electronics engineers from business units, purchasing department, assembly, after-sales service...
• Contribute to the development of a power electronics roadmap. Generation of new ideas and proposals for technology and/or product improvement.
• Stay up to date with cutting-edge technology and market trends affecting the company's products and services.
• Transmit knowledge to all levels of the company.
• Generate documentation for internal use or delivery to the client.

Requirements:

• Specialized engineering studies in power electronics.
• Knowledge in the use of Matlab/Simulink.
• B2 level English minimum.
• Availability to travel occasionally on short trips.
