Technical Simulation Technician

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, seeks to incorporate a Technical Simulation Technician for the realization and analysis of simulations of the different solutions of the Hydrogen Business Unit, located in our facilities in Zamudio, developing the following functions:

• Analysis and realization of calculations and simulations with different software for simulating electrical systems:
  Matlab Simulink, PSCAD, PSSE, and Power Factory using existing models to respond to customer needs and projects.
• Development of simulation models to meet the electrical grid requirements demanded by operators for electrolysis plants.
• Development of simulation models to primarily size power converters and transformers considering the application requirements.
• Analysis and exploitation of the results obtained for the sizing of global solutions or the specification of components.
• Generation of technical documentation with the results of simulation and conclusions for internal use or delivery to customers.
• Participation in the generation of new models and strategies to improve existing products or optimize ongoing designs.

Requirements:

University degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering

Postgraduate degree in Power Electronics, Renewable Energies, automation, electronics, and industrial control…

Knowledge in electrical simulation software:
Matlab Simulink, PSCAD, or Power Factory

Technical knowledge in power converters, electricity, connection to the electrical grid

English level B2

Valuable:

Previous experiences in similar positions.

Knowledge of programming languages:
Matlab, Python,

Knowledge in electrical simulation software: PSSE, PSIM…

Experience in the energy sector

Other languages
