Technical Position for Electrical Solutions Design

Ingeteam, a leading company specialized in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, seeks to incorporate a Technical Designer for Electrical Solutions in the Hydrogen Business Unit at our facilities in Zamudio to respond to customer requests, developing the following functions:

• Perform advanced technical calculations, simulations, and technical sizing to design new power solutions for the electrical supply of electrolyzers in response to customer technical specifications.
• Respond to specific customer requests related to product characteristics, technical calculations, or operational functioning.
• Select and specify relevant power components (transformers, protections, auxiliary systems, etc.) according to the needs of the customer or project.
• Develop precise technical documentation based on analyses, calculations, or simulation results, for internal use or presentation to the customer.
• Ensure that the proposed technical solutions comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards (IEC, UL, CSA).
• Analyze and coordinate with different departments of the unit to determine the best global product.
• Participate in the generation of new ideas and strategies to improve existing products or optimize ongoing designs.
• Assume the role of connection between the commercial area, the technical area, and the customers.

Requirements

University degree in Electrical / Electronic / Automation Engineering

Postgraduate degree in Power Electronics, Renewable Energies, automation, electronics, and industrial control…

Technical knowledge in power converters, electricity, and connection to the electrical grid.

High level of English

We value:

Technical knowledge in MV transformers and MV cells.
