We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Automotive Exterior to support early-stage vehicle development and conceptual design activities. The engineer will develop exterior component concepts and detailed mechanical designs using CATIA while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

• Develop mechanical concepts and detailed designs for automotive exterior components.
• Create 3D models, assemblies, layouts, and engineering drawings using CATIA
  .
• Support early vehicle architecture and conceptual development.
• Perform packaging, clearance, tolerance, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with body, packaging, manufacturing, supplier, and vehicle engineering teams.
• Provide DFM/DFA input to ensure designs are manufacturable and scalable.
• Participate in design reviews and technical problem-solving activities.
• Support prototype builds, design validation, and engineering changes.
• Identify and resolve design conflicts and packaging constraints.
• Present technical concepts and recommendations to cross-functional teams.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of automotive mechanical design experience.
• Strong CATIA V5/V6 experience.
• Experience with early/conceptual vehicle development.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and vehicle packaging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Commercial vehicle experience.
• Startup or fast-paced environment experience.
• Experience with vehicle architecture.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up experience.
• DFM/DFA experience.
