DescriptionNYX LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to support the security and reliability of our manufacturing and business technology environments. This role will assist with monitoring security events, supporting incident response activities, maintaining system security standards, and helping protect company operations from cybersecurity threats.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will work closely with internal IT teams and external security partners to support daily cybersecurity operations and promote a secure manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity alerts, suspicious activity, and security-related events.
- Assist with incident investigation, containment, remediation, and documentation activities.
- Support the administration and maintenance of enterprise security and endpoint protection tools.
- Assist with vulnerability identification, remediation coordination, and security update activities.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to support cybersecurity best practices and system reliability.
- Help maintain user access controls, security standards, and cybersecurity procedures.
- Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, and compliance-related activities.
- Maintain accurate records related to security events, remediation efforts, and operational activities.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with external cybersecurity resources and service providers as needed.
- Support occasional after-hours maintenance or incident-related activities when required.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information technology, systems support, or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting security monitoring, endpoint protection, or incident response activities.
- General understanding of cybersecurity concepts including endpoint security, vulnerability management, phishing prevention, and network security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
- Industry certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or related certifications are beneficial.
This position is primarily on-site within a manufacturing facility environment and requires collaboration with IT, engineering, production, and operational teams. Occasional after-hours and weekend support may be required for maintenance activities or security-related events.
