Job Summary

RAM Construction Services is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Purchasing & Supply Chain to lead procurement, materials management, vendor partnerships, and logistics operations across our restoration and waterproofing projects. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-performance materials and equipment that support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

The Director of Purchasing & Supply Chain will develop and execute a scalable supply chain strategy that supports multiple concurrent façade restoration, concrete repair, structural rehabilitation, and waterproofing projects. This leader will collaborate closely with Operations, Estimating, Project Management, and Field Leadership to optimize purchasing processes, strengthen supplier relationships, reduce material risks, control costs, and minimize project delays.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in procurement and supply chain management within the construction industry, exceptional vendor negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build processes that support growth and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities & Duties Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Develop a specialized supply chain strategy aligned with the unique demands of concrete repair, masonry restoration, and structural rehabilitation projects.
  • Forecast material demand based on backlog and manufacturer lead times.
  • Lead risk management for specialty products with long lead times such as custom masonry units and FRP strengthening systems.
  • Build strategic relationships with key restoration manufacturers.
  • Oversee procurement for repair mortars, patching compounds, masonry units, waterproofing systems, coatings, corrosion inhibitors, FRP materials, anchors, and façade stabilization systems.
  • Negotiate terms with manufacturers and distributors.
Warehouse Management and Logistics
  • Coordinate logistics for projects involving difficult access, occupied buildings, and urban conditions.
