Our team utilizes their expertise and ingenuity to create innovative original concepts or provide creative solutions to existing high-performance designs.
The Race Engine Technicians are responsible for day-to-day sub-assembly tasks supporting engine and component assembly and inspection. The individual will support engine teardowns, quality checking, Post dyno inspection, testing and provide high tolerance, high quality parts in a demanding, racing environment.

Essential Job Function
- Disassembly, cleaning, quality checking, crack testing using nondestructive methods.
- Make quality decisions based on known life/usage and condition of the parts
- Engine and component record keeping to procedures.
- Post dyno inspection using a borescope
- Inspection of engine components, and verification they are to the appropriate standard.
- Measure components to close tolerances
- Set and verify part clearances to design documents
- Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints using advanced measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Accurate use of measuring equipment and the required hand tools
- Meet or exceed quality standards
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years of recent engine experience in a low volume or custom application is strongly preferred
- Must have full knowledge of how an engine works and be very detail and service oriented
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communicator and collaborator
- Able to work hard and maintain quality standards with tight deadlines
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Vocational Certification or Associates Degree in a related subject such as Automotive Performance, Automotive Technician, or related field would be preferred
- Experience building motor sport engines
- This is a full-time non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime
- Hourly Rates start at $21.00/hour, based on experience
