Forklift Operator, Material Handler, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Americas Operations department supporting production and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Location: Plymouth, MI
Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50
Shift: 1st Shift
What's the Job?
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently and safely.
- Verify component labeling, quantities, and documentation for accuracy.
- Complete outgoing shipping documentation and system transactions accurately.
- Maintain receiving records and follow all receiving and material handling procedures.
- Package customer orders according to OEM and departmental requirements, preparing shipments for domestic and out-of-town destinations.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid forklift license/certification and 1 year of recent experience required.
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills required, proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
