Description:

We are looking for a skilled Robotic Weld Technician to join our high performing team on a 2nd shift work schedule using strong technical and communication skills and striving to maintain a goal of zero downtime for our state-of-the-art robotic mig welding systems. The incumbent will work well in and supporting a welding team production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additional job duties may be assigned.

• Provide technical support in developing ad improving welding processes
• Set up of robotic and resistance weld operations, and Poke-yoke apparatus
• Provide general weld support to operators
• Knowledge of robot programming and general welding maintenance Fanuc
• Sensor and pneumatics knowledge
• Provide support in the analysis and resolution of weld equipment failures

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

• Must have minimum of 2 years as a weld technician in a manufacturing environment.

Certifications:

• 2 year certificate in a robotic weld technical program or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with basic computer systems.
• Speak effectively with fellow employees or customers.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Mathematical skills:

• Apply mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as basic algebra.

Other

Skills:

• Detail oriented.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines while performing multiple duties.
• Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
