Marketing Intern

Job Summary:

The Marketing Intern will assist the team with a variety of marketing tasks, including graphic design, tradeshow planning, content creation, market research, and competitive analysis. The intern will support major industry events like the Farm Progress Show, AUSA, Global Polymer Summit, and GVSETS, while helping to build brand awareness for the Trackman brand. This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing, with opportunities to contribute to key projects across different areas in the agriculture and defense industries.

Essential Functions:

• Design and create artwork for digital and print use, including social media graphics, advertisements, tradeshow signage, flyers, promotional giveaways, and internal materials.
• Assist with preparations for major trade shows such as the Farm Progress Show, AUSA, Global Polymer Summit, and GVSETS.
• Create and prepare social media content to engage and inform audiences.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify trends, positioning, and potential customers for commercial products. Contributes to the development of the Trackman Sales Manual and Trackman product reference guide.
• Help produce and distribute the company newsletter.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm creative concepts and visual themes for campaigns and promotions.
• Support project management efforts by reviewing action items, updating trackers, and helping ensure deadlines are met. Manage event registrations and assist with event-related messaging and marketing materials. Provide general marketing and administrative support as needed to assist ongoing initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong creative skills with experience creating visual and written content for social media and digital and print materials. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Canva for graphic design and content creation.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook etc.).
• Ability to conduct market research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis to support marketing initiatives. Team player, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with a strong interest in developing skills in marketing. Ability to think creatively and contribute ideas to campaigns, promotions, and event-related marketing efforts.

Education & Experience

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (B.
  
  A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
