Responsibilities
- As a Corporate Quality Lab Technician, you are safely conducting important tests in a timely manner to insure the consistent quality of Plastipak products.
- You are a key contributor to the Quality Lab operations and have the opportunity to be involved in projects within the Corporate Quality function.
- You Will Receive incoming samples and log the data accordingly
- Accurately perform tests on samples, using a variety of tools and methods
- Compile data regarding test outcomes
- Track the supply of raw materials needed for testing in the lab
- Operate all lab equipment within the safety requirements outlined
- Participate on projects, gaining visibility into Quality Analyst and Quality Engineer roles
- You Have Bachelor’s degree, with a preference for a STEM discipline
- At least one year of experience using analytical and testing equipment. This can be via paid work, unpaid work, or school projects
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to work effectively in both in a team environment and on individual projects
- Familiarity with testing and lab environments
- A high attention to detail and accuracy-orientation
