Job Skills / Requirements
This Unarmed Security Officer position in Plymouth, MI is a customer-service-oriented security role that combines patrol duties, incident response, report writing, and safety monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols.
* Monitor for security threats, hazards, and emergencies.
* Write detailed incident reports and document unusual activities.
* Respond to incidents according to company policies and post orders.
* Provide customer service, visitor reception, loss prevention, or access control functions depending on the site.
* Follow emergency procedures and communicate with supervisors when issues arise.
* Maintain attendance, appearance, and training requirements.
What They're Looking For
Required
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Reliable transportation.
* Ability to pass background checks and any required drug screening.
* Any state-required security license, registration, or permit.
Preferred
* 1-3 years of work experience.
* Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.
* Experience with scheduling, operations, or security-industry functions.
* Clean driving record if the position requires patrol vehicle operation.
Schedule & Pay
* Pay: $18.45/hour
* Shifts:
Midnight until 8:00 AM
* Days:
Sunday-Thursday
* Status:
Full-time
