Liberty Security Group is looking for reliable and attentive Part Time Event Officers to support upcoming events at a popular local venue in Plymouth. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income while helping create a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, staff, and performers.
Position Overview:As an Event Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during events by monitoring entrances, crowd activity, and responding quickly to any incidents. Your presence will help ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosphere for everyone involved.
Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue policies
- Monitor event entrances and exits to control access and prevent unauthorized entry
- Patrol event areas to deter disruptive behavior and maintain a great guest experience
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
- Work closely with venue staff and local authorities as needed
- HS Diploma of GED
- Previous security or event experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stay calm and act decisively under pressure
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Must pass a background check
